Quantum Dot Field

The properties of Quantum Dots change significantly even with size differences of just 1 nm. Furthermore, a complex core/shell structure must be engineered within these tiny particles of only a few nanometers in size. We have established technology that controls the size of Quantum Dots with precision of less than one atomic layer, achieving the world's narrowest spectral linewidth (FWHM 31 nm) for InP Quantum Dots.
By developing highly precise size and structural control technologies, we have successfully achieved mass-production of high-quality Quantum Dots. Although this material was previously considered difficult to mass-produce, our success in achieving the world's largest-scale mass production has broadened their application across various products, contributing to the development of the display industry.

This is a high-resolution analytical instrument scans samples with a finely focused electron beam, which enables observation at the atomic level.
It is also equipped with analytical functions such as EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) and EELS (Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy), enabling a wide range of material analyses, including elemental mapping and visualization of electric and magnetic fields.
